Nellie Bright Fager Cox, 97, formerly of the 900 block of Butts Station Road, went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2014. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Zion and Bessie Wynn Bright and the wife of the late Harold Melvin Cox. She was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Rework Station and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Surviving are three sons, Walter Fager and his wife, Martha, Jesse Fager and his wife, Linda, and Terry Fager and his wife, Majury; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
