Condolence: Becky and I worked together at Bayside High School and I remember her as kind and gentle always with best interest of students at heart. We had a lot of fun, but where students were concerned, she was serious and gave a lot of good advice and direction. AND she was wild about her grandchildren!!

Condolence: We were both classmates with Becky in high school. We have such pleasant memories of her and her family. Our common experiences with her in band are among our fondest memories and had a great impact on our lives. Becky also went to our church where her father was the choir director. Mr. Miles planned trips to the state fair and performances in the Cotten Bowl. He was a talented band director and one of the best musicians we ever knew. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with her family.

Condolence From: Judy Buro Pursche
Condolence: I was so sad to hear of the death of Becky. We were a part of the Class of '68 and shared the field during half time shows...Becky in the band and I was in the drill team. Becky's dad was also the music director at our church besides band director at school so our paths crossed often. I will forever be thankful for the time we spent together at the rededication of the H P Miles Middle School. There is sadness for those left behind but joy in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Condolence: We were both classmates with Becky at LaVega High School in the mid-60's, graduating in 1968 together. Many fond memories of those times. We have had many high school reunions over the years, but didn't ever re-connect with Becky. We were saddened to here of her passing and are sending prayers for her family. May she rest in peace.

Condolence From: Billy and Valerie Gilliam Lipsey
Condolence: So often we forget that each breath, each heartbeat and each thought illustrates the beautiful gift of life. When a loved one or a lifelong friend is taken we feel robbed or wronged. But God will always take from us a beautiful flower and put that flower in His Heavenly Garden. Becky always had that beautiful smile that would honestly explode across her face and always make everyone so happy to see her. That smile will truly be missed here on Earth but will now serve to light up and make Heaven a happier place.

Condolence: I remember Becky from high school band and church. She was always so kind to me. I also played French horn, but not very well. She was always an inspiration to me. My love and prayers go out to all of her family. May God give you strength and peace at this time and in the days to come.

Condolence From: Vicki Gilliam
Condolence: I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Becky's passing. Becky was a good friend and fellow French horn player through all my band days - from 5th grade through Baylor. (Could rarely push her out of first chair, though!) Our families go way back, as our dads were in the Army band together during WWII.

You are in my thoughts and prayers, Charlie, Hannah, and families. May you feel God's comfort during this difficult time.
