VIRGINIA BEACH- Rebecca Ann Moore, 64, passed away too soon on October 11, 2014. She was born in Waco, TX to the late Harry Preston and Mary Spiegel Miles. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her nephew, Michael McCoy. She was a longtime member at Southside Baptist Church and was a Special Education Teacher for many years. Rebecca had a passion for many things, especially sewing, making baby quilts, animals and making cookies for the neighborhood kids. But most of all, her grandchildren where the apples of her eyes.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 43 years, Charles Moore, Jr.; daughter, Charlotte Hudlow and her husband, James; son, Benjamin Moore; grandchildren, Preston, Peyton and Amelia Hudlow; sister, Hannah Marie McCoy and her husband, Donald; niece, Jennifer McCoy and numerous other family and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church, Chesapeake, VA with Rev. Terry Riddle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service for a time of fellowship.
