Annie went home to be with her Heavenly Father on September 23, 2014, in Morehead City, NC. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. (Chuck) DeLong, Sr. and her parents, Paul Cameron Trotman, Sr. and Pearl GregoryTrotman. She was a life-long member of Portlock United Methodist Church in Chesapeake, VA.

She is survived by her two daughters, Anna (Cheekie) Jones and her husband, Bobby of Emerald Isle, NC, Carolyn DeLong and her husband, Greg Hughes of Syria, VA.; her son, Charles L. (Chuck) DeLong, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie of Pine Knoll Shores, NC. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Jacqui Hughes, Greg Hughes, Leslie Anne (Sunshine) Ceruzzi, Michael Cohen, Jeffrey Cohen, Christina (Layton) Lawlor, and David DeLong; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Her three brothers, Paul C. Trotman, Jr., Edward L. Trotman, Sr., and John L. Trotman, Sr. all predeceased her. She leaves behind a sister, Patricia Emigholz and her husband, Nick of Seattle, WA.; Four sisters-in-laws, Ann Trotman of Chesapeake, VA., Janice Trotman of Duck, NC., Grace DeLong of Chesapeake, VA., Marie DeLong of Ravenswood, WV, and a very large family and circle of friends that she loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11 AM with Pastor Bob Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake on Sunday from 6 to 8:00 P.M.
