James T. "Bud" Castellow, Sr., 90, passed away September 18, 2014. James was born in North Carolina to the late William T. and Lettie Walls Castellow and was the loving husband for 63 years to the late Anna Pardue Castellow. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Gloria Williams and son, Marvin Castellow. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII; worked for Ford Motor Company retiring after 38.5 years of service as the garage supervisor at the Norfolk Plant; Bud also was a member of Raleigh Heights Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Teresa Elliott (Ed), Jan Burns (Michael "Sonny"); two sons, Jim Castellow,Jr. and Robert Castellow (Bonnie); 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Oarie Lee Knechpges and Sandra Howell.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, September 22, 2014, at 11:00 am at Raleigh Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Thompson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
