Obituary for John Wade Demerly

John Wade Demerly, 25, passed away too soon on August 13, 2014. He was born in Norfolk, VA to Robert E. Demerly and Tina M. Demerly. John always had a positive outlook on life. He was a hard worker, dependable and was always helpful to others in need. But most of all, he was excited about becoming a father in February.
Besides his parents, left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Candy Castillo; brother, Robert E. Demerly, III; paternal grandmother, Eva Burton; maternal grandmother, Joyce Price; aunts, Robin Hurlbut, Dawn Brown, Michelle Kupka and Lisa Manning and numerous other family and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10 am. at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake with Pastor Jimmy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm.
