Obituary for Bernard C. Bray Jr.

Bernard C.  Bray Jr.
Bernard "Bud" Cecil Bray, Jr. passed away August 4, 2014. Bud served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War retiring after 30 years of service. Following his retirement from the military he worked for Northrup Grumman retiring as a Radar Technician.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Bray; three step children, Sharon Godwin (Johnnie), Bill Wesley (Jeanette) and Jullie Evasco (Marlon); four grandchildren, Brian Larsen (Monica), William Thomas Badgley (Valerie), Nicholas Evasco and fiancée Logan Davis, and Ian Evasco and his girlfriend, Miranda Houchins; four great grandchildren; siblings, Ward Bray, Judith Simmons and Nancy Bray. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his sister, Joyce Baumheckel.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 at 12 noon at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with full military honors, with the family receiving friends in the funeral home reception center immediately following the service. His final resting place will be Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk at a later date.
