NORFOLK-Cathy E. Irvin, 65, went to be with the lord, December 16, 2011. Cathy worked for Christian Broadcasting Network for 32 years and was a longtime member of Kempsville Presbyterian Church. She was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother.
She will be loved and missed by her son, Dean W. Neville; daughter, Theresa Duncan Ratliff and husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Tasha Duncan Hollingsworth, Brandon Duncan, Damien W. Neville, and Sabrena Mailloux; great-grandchildren, Destiny Duncan, Anthony and Elijah Hollingsworth, Angelina and Brian Layne; nieces, Michele and Lauri Mason and Shaun Kueter; nephews, Steve and Michael Mason. Also survived by Charles D. Flaherty and all other family and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Graham Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 12 noon, with Pastor Nate Atwood officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
